Jesus Christ: Superstar

Well with Easter just round the corner I’m willing to bet the egg trade will step up a notch, as hundreds of screaming children roll their hand-painted dairy produce down the hills of Princes Street gardens. Of course, I’m hoping everyone will have the sense to stick to the grass and not the footpaths so there’s no nasty accidents like the one I had last year, when an experiment involving a box of free range and Lasswade Brae went horribly wrong.

Anyway, I decided last week to venture into Edinburgh to witness something slightly more traditional than another ‘Ernest Saves’ movie, and I ended up in the front row of ‘Jesus Christ:Superstar’ which is currently showing at the King’s Theatre until the end of March.
